Coast Guard and other San Diego authorities respond to suspicious object

SAN DIEGO -- Coast Guard crews on a 25-foot response boat from Maritime Safety and Security Team San Diego and a 41-foot utility boat from Station San Diego maintain a security zone around a suspicious object found in the water near San Diego Feb. 3, 2009. The Coast Guard worked with members of the FBI, San Diego Metro Arson Strike Team, San Diego City Ranger/Divers and San Diego Lifeguards to determine the object was not dangerous and remove it from the waterway.
