SAN FRANCISCO- Auxiliarist Skip Morford, left, and Petty Officer 2nd Class Gabriel Hall review the checklist of items for a dockside safety inspection they are working on.  Dozens of Coast Guard active duty, reserve, and auxiliary members walked the docks offering voluntary inspections to crab fisherman along the Central and Northern California coast as part of "Operation Safe Crab."  The dockside exams help save the crab fishermen time and money by giving them the opportunity to be sure their vessel is safe and seaworthy, and can help prevent them from being boarded while underway fishing.  (Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer Kevin J.
